Crescent Hill is a progressive, inclusive community of faith rooted in the Baptist tradition. We’re a flourishing community of seekers made up of Baptists, ex-evangelicals, mainline Protestants, Catholics, people of other religious expressions, and people of no religious expression at all. We are deconstructing and reconstructing our faith. We practice rituals that ground us in community. We’re committed to advocating for justice grounded in the transformational love of Jesus Christ.

No matter who you are or where you’re from

there is a place for you

at Crescent Hill Baptist Church.

Since our founding in 1908, we’ve gained a bit of a reputation as a “different” kind of church. We’re located along historic Frankfort Avenue in Louisville’s vibrant Crescent Hill neighborhood, with easy access from St. Matthews, Clifton, the Highlands, and anywhere in Louisville and Southern Indiana from Interstates 64 and 71.
