Congregational Meet and Vote on New Music Minister, Nolan Anthony
Please join us Sunday, August 23 to meet Music Minister candidate, Nolan Anthony!
You will have the opportunity to meet Nolan during the Sunday school hour (9AM) in the Fellowship Hall. He will lead us in worship service and we will have a congregational vote immediately after worship.
Nolan Anthony comes to us from Henderson, NC and was introduced to music at an early age. He has been on organist and accompanist since 2014 in various Methodist churches in North and South Carolina. During his graduate studies, two years were spent at a Baptist church in Virginia as Minister of Music, organist, and choir director. Over the past 10 months Nolan completed an internship in organ and church music at the Cathedral of St. Phillip in Atlanta, GA. He has a Bachelor of Music from Furman University and a Master’s in Organ Performance from the University of NC. School of the arts. His musical talents are amazing.
He now plans to further his leadership and directing abilities to glorify God through his music. He looks to provide a diversity in our worship service as well as encouraging us to be a part of a spiritual, musical journey through our participation.
